Executive Coaching Process

INTRODUCTION
Wendy Fritz Consulting is a true executive's executive coaching business. We invest 90% of our time coaching executives one-on-one at the CEO, President and Vice President levels. If you are an executive interested in growth and development, we can help.

Our executive coach and founder, Wendy Fritz Mader, is a unique coach. Wendy began her career in business and by the age of 30, Wendy was promoted to the executive level leading various functions including Human Resources, TQM, Business Processes, Public Relations, Organizational Development, and more. Her hands-on executive experience spans large and small, public and private, and global businesses. Her experience working with leaders in Asia and Europe is extensive. If you currently have global responsibilities or will in the future, Wendy can help.

Wendy earned her MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management and completed the Executive Programme at the prestigious INSEAD school in France. In 2001 she left Johnson Polymer, one of the Johnson Wax companies, as Global Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness to start her own business, Wendy Fritz Consulting.

APPROACH
We approach coaching from a point of curiosity first. We need to learn from you, and together, how coaching can help improve results.

During the first few sessions expect Wendy to get to know you and your background, as well as your current situation and plans for the future. Blending this with input from your Board and others, when appropriate, we will establish the goals of your coaching, and then set out to achieve those goals.

Face-to-face coaching sessions will take place in your offices, twice monthly, for two hours. You can call or email Wendy in between sessions any time as you wish.

Wendy's approach is practical. She will focus on your existing organizational and personal goals and team up with you to help you reach them effectively. Her focus is simple and she plays one role only: to help you achieve your goals. She does not assign homework to your already overwhelming to-do list; you will walk out of your coaching sessions with a sense of accomplishment. And, she is more than just a coach. She will bring her expertise and apply one-on-one consulting, training, mentoring. . whatever it takes to ensure you begin experiencing positive on-the-job results within the first months.

We make no assumptions before coaching begins, including that you need to be assessed. We find that often executives have been assessed extensively in their past and that they can provide past assessments to us. However, if during the coaching process a need arises for additional data, we may recommend various ways to obtain that data, such as shadowing, 360s, interviewing staff, mentoring meetings, or a specific assessment tool aimed precisely at the type of data we are interested in obtaining. This can be discussed if the need arises.

WHAT SETS US APART
We are different from other coaches in several ways.

First, few coaches have the level of experience and expertise of Wendy. While some coaches have years of counseling background, they do not have business experience. Or, other coaches may be retired business leaders, but they have only coached from a position of power in their past and coaching from a position of influence is quite different. Wendy, on the other hand, has experience as a global business leader herself AND as someone coaching others from a position of influence.

Wendy takes a practical approach. It's unlikely you have the time to read books and articles about the latest research on leadership or delegating. Wendy reads 40 - 50 books and articles each year on leadership, business, management and more, and can bring these theories to you in a practical way. You are not left to think about how the theories apply to you and your staff within your organization's culture. Wendy will help you do that so you can quickly apply the theories to get results.

Wendy is more than a coach. She will apply her more than 20 years of experience to your one-on-one sessions and help you brainstorm solutions, providing one-on-one training, consulting, mentoring and more.

We focus at the top. There are many coaching organizations from which to choose, but we believe we're the only one which focuses our coaching at the top of the organization. That ensures you're working with a coach that has been working with hundreds of executives to ensure you're getting the highest level of coaching available.

RESULTS
The results you can expect from coaching relate to the goals you establish. You can expect to see bottom-line results such as increased sales, revenues, profits, productivity and more. Others prefer to measure employee satisfaction or whether they attained a new skill. We will talk about how to measure the results of your coaching as we establish your goals.

Here are some examples of the results some of our clients have experienced.

One of our clients, a CEO of a pharmaceutical company in Minneapolis, accelerated his performance two years ahead of schedule. Imagine reaching your 2012 goals by the end of 2010 instead!

Another client in Atlanta was losing money in his plant and felt changing the culture of his plant was key to its success. In 18 months his gross profits were 15%, much of which he attributes to coaching. What if you could improve your performance by more than 15%?

A third client in Chicago was in a deal-making position for her company and after six months of coaching was making $500,000 deals for the first time. Imagine going from zero to a high level of performance for the first time in a new role in your position?
